Did the Farmland Assessment 2026 Fix the Loopholes?

The 2026 update on New Jersey Farmland Assessment made some changes but kept the basic requirements the same. You need a minimum of 6 acres with 5 acres devoted to farming. The amount of products sold was raised to $1,000. An article by Jeff Tittel is on Facebook Best Horse Boarding NJ and is worth reading. He suggests we need stronger income and acreage requirements, a much longer tax rollback period when land is developed, rules stating that if the primary use is an office park, corporate, research, it should not qualify for farmland assessment.  WHAT do YOU Think?
